Digit Sum /Digital Sum/Digital Root
     
When the Samuccaya is the Same it is Zero



Digit : The word digit stands for single figure number; the number.
Single figure numbers : 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 & 0.
Sum :Means addition
žDigit Sum: A Digit Sum is the sum of all of the digits of a number and is found by adding all of the digits of a number’
  1. Adding again if required till the time it becomes single digit number.
  2. žKeep finding the Digit Sum of the result until it’s less than 10

ž0 and 9 are equivalent!
žDigital Sum of a number is the single digit number obtained by repeatedly summing all the digits of a number.
žThe digital root of  a number is also the reminder we find when that number is divided by 9.
žExample: 
Digital   Sum  of  2547 = 9
  because (2 + 5 + 4 + 7 = 18) and (1 + 8 = 9)
Digital   Sum  of  98194 = 4
  because (9 + 8 + 1 + 9 + 4 = 31) and (3 + 1 = 4)
